FEATURE STORY | Raven Roberts Explores the Future of Architectural Visualization at Unreal Fest 2025

BRON attended Unreal Fest 2025 in Orlando, gaining hands-on insight into how real-time 3D visualization tools are transforming architectural workflows and elevating design storytelling across the AECO industry.

BRON’s Jr. Architectural Designer, Raven Roberts, recently represented our Architecture team at Unreal Fest 2025 in Orlando, gaining firsthand insight into how real‑time 3D technology is reshaping the AECO industry. Hosted by Unreal Engine, the conference spotlighted the powerful ecosystem behind many of today’s leading animation and visualization tools, including Twinmotion, the rendering and modeling software that Raven introduced to our firm.

While Unreal Fest brings together creators from film, gaming, engineering, and design, Raven focused on the dedicated AECO track (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, & Operations), which explores how real‐time animation can streamline architectural workflows.

“I didn’t know what to expect at first,” Raven shared. “But seeing a full AECO group there made the experience even more exciting. It showed that architecture now has a real seat at the table in the world of animation.”

Innovation, Learning, and Hands-On Insights

Across multiple sessions, Raven learned new techniques for improving modeling efficiency, enhancing rendering quality, and optimizing performance in Twinmotion. The conference also previewed upcoming features, offering a glimpse into how our team will soon be able to produce even more immersive, high‑fidelity imagery.

One standout example showcased large‑scale modeling workflows, including full-island renderings with multiple villas. These demonstrations highlighted strategies for reducing system load while still achieving photorealistic results, knowledge that directly supports our department’s growing visualization needs.

Connecting With Industry Leaders

Unreal Fest also opened the door to invaluable cross‑industry conversations. Raven met creators and technical leads from Walt DisneyNetflixGoogle, and architectural visualization teams from major firms. These discussions revealed how the world’s top studios use animation tools to produce hyper-realistic moviesand how similar techniques are driving innovation in architecture.

Why This Matters for BRON

As the team member who introduced Twinmotion internally, Raven emphasized the importance of attending:

“We’re only just touching the tip of the iceberg in terms of what animation can do for us. The possibilities for our discipline are endless, and being there allowed me to bring back new skills, new ideas, and new ways to elevate our work.”

Raven’s participation positions our Architecture team to leverage cutting‑edge visualization technology as we continue developing compelling, client-ready imagery across all project scales.
