Over Yonder Cay
Bron provided environmental services for this luxury remote island development.
Over Yonder Cay is a private island under development in the Exuma Cays since 2008. The 72-acre island includes the development of a marina, seaside pier, seaplane ramp, and primary owner’s residence along with three additional residences. The island boasts the largest alternative energy project in The Bahamas with just under an acre of solar field and eight wind generators. A central utility compound is the operational hub for all major infrastructure including water and power generation and distribution.
The project is estimated at near $100M with the infrastructure complete in 2010, marina and boathouse facilities complete in early 2011 and primary residence scheduled to be complete before the end of 2011.
