(“BRON”), a leading development consulting firm in The Bahamas, is thrilled to celebrate Mark Daniels’ promotion to Principal of Environmental, effective earlier this year. Early Inspiration Shapes a Path

Mark’s passion for nature began in childhood, influenced profoundly by his grandfather, Zadock Daniels, a dedicated agriculturalist and plant inspector in Jamaica. His early fascination for plant life laid the groundwork for his academic pursuits. Mark obtained a degree in biochemistry and supplemented his studies with courses in botany and biotechnology.

Professional Pathway

Mark’s formative environmental work started at the Bahamas National Trust (“BNT”), where his roles evolved from park warden to managerial positions. He oversaw significant projects like the Leon Levy Native Plant Preserve in Eleuthera, which made his tenure at BNT pivotal. His leadership expanded the preserve’s educational programs and visitor outreach, significantly enhancing conservation efforts.
