Albany Development

BRON provided structural and civil engineering services for this luxury condo.

Albany is an exclusive luxury residential development, developed by Tavistock, located on the western end of New Providence, Bahamas. The project includes an exclusive hotel cottage collection, mega yacht marina, restaurants, spa, fitness center, children’s water park, and world-renowned Ernie Els designed golf course. The private residence development also includes a number of beachside estate lots, golf course lots and beachfront lots.

(1) The prime engineering consultant to Albany for the development of the hotel cottage collection, which includes 48 custom cottages up to 4-storeys with values ranging from $4M to $7.5M each.

(2) With the development of the hotel cottage collection nearing completion in 2011, our team of professionals continues to provide multidisciplinary engineering to developers and private homeowners for the development of the custom home sites. As of early 2011, CCS has been involved with nearly all of the residential development with eight homes under design or construction ranging from 9,000sf to 27,000sf.

(3) Our services as prime engineering consultant include a full range of structural, mechanical, plumbing, fire suppression and electrical building services as well as geotechnical investigation and lot drainage design. Our Bahamian registered professionals administer the approvals process with the local authorities and are able to ensure seamless building and occupancy permits.

(4) In order to ensure the client that their project is developed to the highest standard that should be expected at Albany, our team of engineers and technicians work very closely with the contractors, architects and owners to provide continual construction quality control services throughout project development.
