JA Bahamas stimulates youth interest in business and future professions through practical programs and mentorship. This connects to BRONs core value of community, where we provide mentorship to aspiring science and engineering professionals.
Kevin’s Experience at JA Bahamas’ Conference:
- Why did you/BRON choose to speak at this event? – To give back to my community, share my knowledge and experience with others and grow as a public speaker.
- What was the most valuable part of this experience for you? – Preparing for the presentation allowed me to consider how my profession has positively impacted my life and how it can also be meaningful to others who want to pursue an engineering career. It allowed me to gain more experience using PowerPoint. I now also have a presentation on the engineering profession that I can use in the future. I will seek more opportunities to share my knowledge and experiences with others seeking to learn more about the engineering profession.
